Descent

A leaf falls in the wind.  Carelessly it tumbles.
A gust blows it aloft.  Spinning and flipping it falls.
A hand grasps but cannot reach.  It hangs too high.
A foot shuffles past.  It alights on a bench.
A seat is taken nearby. A gesture brushes it off.
It lands on the earth.  The earth accepts it.
